Nita’s Moroccan Quesadilla

  • 2 Charred Flour Tortilla
  • 1 cup Nita's Dal Makhami- Lentils and Beans
  • 1 Cheese
  • Coconut Oil
  • Zattar


This recipe uses Nita's Dal Makhami- Lentils and Beans.  The idea behind this type of cooking is that one pot can be used for many many dishes.

The secret ingredients are Coconut Oil and Zattar.


Step 1
I brushed the tortilla in Coconut oil before charring to prevent them from sticking to the pan.
Coating the tortilla in oil of your choice so it will not stick to the pan.
Step 2
Brush the warm charred tortilla with cococnut oil after they have been charred and sprinkle them with Zattar and salt.
Brush with oil and sprinkle with zattar and salt to taste.
Step 3
Place one of the charred tortilla's on a plate. Pour the hot Nita's Dal Makhami- Lentils and Beans Place a piece of cheese on top of the bean lentil mixture. and place the remaining charred tortilla on top.
